1.  The Rich Roll Podcast

  • Rich Roll is a plant-based ultra endurance athlete and the bestselling author of “Finding Ultra”
  • Completely changed the way I think about food, uncovering your best and most authentic self, and fueling your training in the healthiest way possible
  • His podcast is for anyone – from couch potatoes looking to get healthier, to Ironman triathletes. He has paradigm-shifting guests on this show each time and it’s truly inspiring and educational.
  • Highly recommend both his book and podcast for anyone looking to make a healthy lifestyle change

2.  MindBodyGreen

  • Chalk full of wellness, nutrition, exercise, yoga, plant-based, paleo, gluten-free advice from top contributors
  • Short articles that are easy to understand and digest
  • Make it a part of your regular blog-reading and your health will thank you

3.  No Meat Athlete

  • Best plant-based blog for endurance athletes
  • Awesome and easy recipes for smoothies, and energy bars. I like that Matt provides “formulas” so that you can experiment on your own with your favorite ingredients.

4.  Approaching the Natural

  • One of my favorite books. It’s a quick and easy read but is packed with advice on how to live a more natural and healthy life.
  • Sid believes that if we get back to our most natural state (no, not the Paleo diet!!) then we will be the healthiest version of ourselves.
  • Sid also has a podcast that’s extremely insightful!

5. Forks Over Knives 

  • If you have Netflix, it’s free and you should definitely add this to your queue asap! Or buy the DVD. It’ll be the best money ever spent.
  • Boils plant-based nutrition down to the basics
